Australian Numerals Creator Admits Failure
Australian Numerals Creator Admits Failure
Mathematics only basic
No PhD in Mathematics
This morning a 15 year old asked if I had a PhD in mathematics. The answer is no. In fact I once failed math. Read my reply in full below...
Hi XXXXXX
I have no formal training in mathematics. I even failed mathematics in year 11 (form 5) at school.
I believe I'm a geek (fanatic about one subject) not a nerd (clever).
I focus on basic mathematics and numbers only. However I believe the numbering system I'm writing up at the moment may make algebra easier...
My main goal is to make early level maths more fun and easier to do...
I've just been super stubborn about wanting to do basic mathematics in a simpler way! Some will see Australian Numerals as a massive breakthrough. Others will say "That's so simple anyone could have thought of that!" The bizarre thing is that my discovery/creation Australian Numerals is SO DAMN SIMPLE it's bizarre that it hasn't been done before!
So stay tuned and I'll look forward to you being one of the first in the world to find out!
Jonathan
